Join the Multiobjective Optimization Group
We welcome new doctoral students and researchers in our group, assuming funding can be arranged. Information about open positions at our university and the requirements in English is provided here. Motivated Bachelor and Master students are also welcome to join our group. We have several thesis topics available for Bachelor, Master and doctoral students with focus on either methods, software or application and we are willing to tailor topic according to interests.
Requirements for new postdoctoral researchers
- Be familiar with multiobjective optimization and basics of nonlinear optimization
- Have high interest and plan of how to collaborate with the Multiobjective
Optimization Group and prepare joint publications
- Be interested in and willing to work as an active member of the group
- Be active in research and willing to bear responsibility of one's own
duties within the group
- Be willing to supervise doctoral students and share one's knowledge and
expertise with group members
- Have experience and interest in teaching optimization courses
- Have experience in coordinating research projects or interest, experience
and contacts in finding new research projects
- Have experience in scientific publishing and reviewing research articles
Requirements for new doctoral students
- Be familiar with basics of multiobjective optimization and nonlinear
optimization
- Be motivated in working hard in theory/method/software development of
nonlinear multiobjective optimization and relevant applications
- Have motivation and preliminary plan of how to collaborate with the
Multiobjective Optimization Group
- Have interest in preparing scientific research articles
- Be willing to work as an active member of the group and bear
responsibility of one's own duties within the group
